Maternal Child Health Director

City of New Orleans, Health Department

 

Sheneda Jackson is the Maternal Child Health Director for the New Orleans Health Department, where she leads federally funded maternal and child health initiatives, including the Healthy Start New Orleans and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) programs. She provides strategic and operational leadership, ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, and directs multidisciplinary teams focused on improving maternal, infant, and family health outcomes.

The Hunger, Nutrition and Health Pregnancy Action Network is bringing together organizations and experts to share progress and updates, highlight member experiences and advance collaboration opportunities to improve nutrition and health outcomes from preconception through early childhood.
