Cultivating Connections: Partnering to Address Food Insecurity Among Military Families
Join us on Wednesday, September 17, at 3:30 p.m. ET for the Hunger Nutrition and Health Action Collaborative Monthly Webinar Series. Connect with partners across the US dedicated to ending hunger and building healthy communities. This webinar will highlight successful strategies, food and nutrition system changes, multisector partnerships, and community-building efforts.
One in five military and veteran families experience food insecurity—rising to one in four among active duty military families—compared to one in eight U.S. households. During this month’s partner call, you will learn about programs and partnerships that are working to address food insecurity among military families. Our panelists include Shannon Razsadin, from the Military Family Advisory Network (MFAN) and Sue Potter from Nourish Pierce County Food Bank in Tacoma, Washington.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn and connect. Please mark your calendar and join us for an engaging and informative session. Email your questions for the panelists to hnh@cdcfoundation.org by Monday, September 15.
