Join us on Wednesday, December 2, at 3:00 p.m. ET for the Hunger Nutrition and Health in Pregnancy Action Network Quarterly Connect Meeting. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with fellow professionals passionate about advancing maternal health and hear inspiring stories of real-world impact from our members.

During this month’s Quarterly Connect, you will learn about strategies to translate the science behind perinatal nutrition into community action. Our panelists include Nicolette (Nicky) Ulrich, M.N.M., M.A., Community Engagement Manager at the Moore Institute for Nutrition & Wellness at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and Lindsay Grosvenor, RDN, Regional Manager at Oregon Food Bank Southeast Oregon Services.

Nicolette (Nicky) Ulrich, M.N.M., M.A., has advanced food systems initiatives through a variety of professional roles across Oregon and North Carolina. She currently serves as the Community Engagement Manager at the Moore Institute for Nutrition & Wellness at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where she strengthens the connection between the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD) framework and the lived experiences of Oregonians, while facilitating statewide collaborations to implement nutrition-focused initiatives that promote the health and well-being of children and pregnant individuals. Nicky holds dual master's degrees in Nonprofit Management and International Studies from the University of Oregon, building on her earlier experience serving in the Peace Corps in West Africa and her long-standing commitment to food system equity and community well-being.

Lindsay Grosvenor, RDN, was born and raised in Ontario, Oregon. After graduating from University of Idaho’s dietetics program in 2001, Lindsay returned to the Western Treasure Valley area where she worked as a Registered Dietitian and certified intuitive eating counselor in public health for nearly 25 years. Lindsay is currently the Southeast Oregon Regional Manager at Oregon Food Bank Southeast Oregon Services (Ontario branch) where much of her work has shifted to community food systems; she is currently serving as project coordinator for the Western Treasure Valley Food Systems Partnership, a collaboration of public and private organizations working to further develop the area’s food system, including the plans for a future community food center in Ontario. She is also a member of the Oregon Community Food Systems Network Leadership team. Lindsay is passionate about food and social justice as well as using a systems approach to address the root causes of hunger.
